Pressure Treated Decking

First of all, we don't recommend using pressure treated boards for your San Francisco deck. Exposed to the elements, the boards will wear out and require a headache-inducing amount of maintenance.

However, the framing of your deck is relatively sheltered, making it the perfect place to use pressure treated lumber and save some money. You shouldn't use just any pressure treated product, though. By far, the best option is MCA treated wood. MCA pressure treated lumber is the safest, best looking, and most environmentally friendly option out there, and so it's the only one we sell.
